Check out this interesting piece from Time.com about an American Heart Association report showing that eating out has negative effects on children's health, including higher blood pressure and lower insulin sensitivity.
Kids who eat out four times a week or more drank 6 cups of soda or other sugary drinks, vs. 3.65 cups for those at home more often.
The article contends that the study has some flaws, but it points to an alarming trend.
