Eating on the Run?

Posted by Jacqueline Z.

Sometimes you just can't avoid a trip through the drive-through, but at least you can minimize the potential damage. This quiz from AOL's Body section has some surprising information - for example, what has a lower calorie count, a Big Mac or a grilled Chicken Club? How a corn muffin vs. an Egg McMuffin? The answers may surprise you. Take the quiz here (http://body.aol.com/diet/basics/fast-food-nutrition-facts) and see if you can beat my (slightly embarrassing) score of 4/10.

Eating on the run or at fast food sites is fine as long as you stay conscious when making selections. Too many people see fast food as an opportunity to "cheat" and eat unhealthy food. There's nothing wrong with occasionally choosing non-nutritious foods, but that's not what usually happens on the run.  Karen R. Koenig
