If I slow down and appreciate every bite of food, I can eat better and eat less. Eating with gratitude allows me to enjoy what I have and not have to fill up with empty calories. Knowing that a luxury is a luxury increases enjoyment.

This causes the release of extra cortisol and insulin which lowers your ability to burn off those calories. Try to slow down and enjoy your food as much as possible and you could lose weight without even really trying.
