Eating applies, fish during pregnancy may protect child from asth

Posted by Nancy B. Patient Expert

A new study by researchers in the Netherlands and Scotland has found that children of women who ate more apples and fish during pregnancy were less likely to develop asthma and allergies. The researchers studied 1,212 children at age five whose mothers had filled out food questionnaires 32 weeks into their pregnancy. Results of the study were presented at the American Thoracic Society's International Conference in San Franscico. http://www.dentalplans.com/articles/17762/
