Ever since I ditched American Chain restaurants like Olive garden (come on, their salads are mostly nutrient poor iceberg lettuce) in favor of ethnic restaurants--I've been eating way more veggies.
I'm talking about good restaurants that use quality ingredients--not "gross out" take out like Panda Express that is mostly fried and soaked in refined sugar.
I've found that authentic thai restaurants often use a ton of nutrient dense veggies in their stir-fries and many of their dishes. I'm addicted to Thai, I'll admit. I eat at this place called Sawadee every other day. Just watch the portions. I eat there every other day, because I cut the portions in half and eat them the next!
ps. I know I shouldn't eat out so much. I'm in the middle of a big work project and I'll get back to home-cooking when that's over!
