People Against.... That is a horrible thing to say. You best be joking! PETA is a wonderful organization and it stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. I know that it's confusing - after all, there are several words in the title that do not earn a letter in the abbreviation, but those are the shakes. PETA is an organization that has over 1.6 million members and is steadily growing. They focus on four different areas where animals are at the most risk - farms, labs, clothing industry and entertainment industry. They work tirelessly to be certain that we aren't taking advantage of creatures that can't protect themselves. Check out their website at www.peta.org
