I am going to use this opportunity to post on a more heavy topic. In actuality it is the opposite, it is a message that frees you and gives you satisfaction, but content-wise it is a much more serious topic than my usual.
One of my favourite pastors to listem to audio sermons from is Eric Ludy . I always enjoy his enthusiastic and well researched teachings. Recently I listened to his sermon entitle “The All-Sufficient One” and couldn’t help but bring it up on the blog.
Why? Because it convicts me of trying to satisfy my human yearning of health. Even if you just skim through Eric’s online sermon notes you will notice the emphasis on putting your mamonas (your conterfeit saviour) in health.
I won’t type out all the details, but I would encourage you to watch it. As a bonus (I flatter I know) I scanned in my own notes on the sermon. I am a nerd when it comes to my notebooks and this is typically what I do even if I am not sharing notes with any one.
I have really got to deal with this human yearning of health, and making sure I don’t satisfy it the wrong way. God is what makes me whole and strong. Not protein powder.-*-*-*-*-Do you listen to audio sermons? Do you listen to other audio talks? Do you ever take colored notes not for school? Do you put too much emphasis on filling your soul with health?
