Day Ten

Yes, you read correctly! Today is day ten of our workout madness! Really, it's all about fun and maximizing our last days on O'ahu.
When I last checked in, we had just done Koko Head on Friday. Here's what the last few days have looked like:
Saturday: dove Pupukea on the Northshore (super tired legs!)
Sunday: Best dive day ever! Dove Electric beach on the West Side/Waianae Coast. Amazing clarity, cool underwater hot air vents, eagle ray and all kinds of fish. Ed and I were going to workout more after but were super sore. Instead we got lots of errands done.
Monday: Dove Electric Beach again. Today, I had to finally take off my body-boarding fins. My feet were cut up and bloody from so many days of kicking in them. I switched off to a pair of mismatched snorkel fins and things were much better. I've been diving with and without weights and I'm down to 25 feet! Did I mention that when I first moved to the island (in August 2006) I didn't even like to put my face in the water! Ha!

And for the Eats:
Hearty Pumpkin Oats and coffee in the mornings and tons of fruit, veggies and protein throughout the day and night. We've also been drinking diet (clear) soda like it is going out of style b/c it is so freakin hot up here (on the 14th floor w/o AC) and I can only drink so many gallons of water per day.
Lunch today was leftover hijiki salad (yum!), leftover papaya salad mixed with leftover tom yum soup (about 2 tsp of each) weird tasting and some almond/coconut flavored agar that I made last night, not very sweet but very refreshing.
