Homemade veggie dumplings topped with sesame seed oil and salt = out of this world. These dumplings cannot be found in any commercial establishment as they were made by Edward's mom and cooked by Edward who is fantastic on the stove-top!
Baked veggie ramen with bamboo, garlic, ong choi, and some veggie "pork" floss sprinkled on top = soothing, warm, and filling. I did use a cleaver for the first time to chop some of the veggies, but Edward did the rest. We filled our bellies with warm soup and then headed out for an hour and ten minute long walk through Golden Gate Park, Kezar Stadium, Cole Valley, and the Haight. A full moon was out and the sky was gorgeous. Everything was picturesque and perfect, the way I always remember early fall in the city.
