I'm not sure why, but the past couple of days have felt like fall to me. Sounds weird to say since it is fall, but living in Southern California for the last couple of years has made it rare that I feel like it is any season in particular. The weather is still beautiful but inside me, it feels like fall.
So this morning I had some oatmeal with cinnamon, pumpkin spice, almonds and vanilla stevia.
Lunch was an on the go salad of spinach, arugula, lettuce, broccoli and egg.
When I came home this afternoon, Eve was giving her sister a bath - how cute!!!
And I had a little apple and peanut butter before my afternoon clients.
Then for dinner, my husband made roasted chicken, steamed broccoli and some roasted sweet potato wedges.
Since it is fall, and I am feeling it inside, I am getting the bug to do a seasonal cleanse like I used to do in NYC between each season. I am currently reading The Fat Flush Plan by Ann Louise Gittleman and she starts her plan with a two week cleanse. I like to try things out so I can see how it feels and what it does - that way I can know if it is a good recommendation for any clients I have. I also picked up her Detox Diet plan book to take a look at too.
