Calcium All Day Long

Posted by Tracii H.

Breakfast is a great time to get your calcium. Fat-free or low fat milk, soy milk, or calcium fortified juices are great sources of the mineral, which plays an important role in building and maintaining healthy bones and teeth, as well as regulating muscle impulses and sleep patterns. For lunch, eat a bowl of cereal or order plain white yogurt. Smoothies can be another calcium-rich option, as are kale, salmon, and sesame seeds.
