Today is gonna be quite the full day! I've got my athletic training class at the gym tonight and there is a potluck for work tomorrow, so I've got some cooking to do!
Let's go back to last night for a sec though. I got a bit hungry after taking the doggies on a walk, so I had a bit of dessert. 1/2 mashed nana with 1/3 scoop protein powder and some almond butter. Forgot to add flax :P It was might tasty, but the BF joked it looked like poo.
Got the day started bright and early with a delish breakfast slushie with tooonnns of spinach, frozen mango, frozen papaya, frozen strawberries/blueberries/raspberries, and half a nana.
Threw in just a tiny splash of nonfat leche then added water. I think tomorrow I'm going all water, I'm finding that I don't miss the milk when I use less of it. Pulverized it all then added a scoop of protein, a bit of ground flax and somegranola. Tasty and filling, despite the icky color.
Took Wall-e for a jog and then headed off to to the gym for a tiring workout. I did 3 sets of 10 reps for most of the following. For a few of the exercises I ended heavy and did 8 reps of a heavier weight on my last set.
I did 15 mins on the stairclimber and 15 doing hills on the bike. I didn't want to overdo it since I have athletic training tonight and it is gonna huuuurt. We'll see if there is yoga time tonight, I'm doubting it.
My 8 am snack this morning was overnight oat bran instead of oats. I like the texture of these! Mmmm, and they are even healthier than oatmeal. What, what??? (If you didn't catch it, that was Kyle's mom from south park) I mixed in mango, berries, flax and a scoop of banana flavored protein.
