Burger Seductions and Heavy Metals

Posted Dec 20 2008 6:47pm
This is fitting after my post on the FDA and mercury earlier this week. "Entourage" star Jeremy Piven has been experiencing such unusually excessive levels of fatigue while working on a Broadway play that he was looking for a replacement for his role. After testing for heavy metals, his doctor pinpointed the fatigue as a result of "a very, very elevated level of mercury" in his blood. Apparently Piven has been eating sushi twice a day and taking "herbal remedies" ( article here ). But the FDA says it's fine for sensitive populations such as pregnant women to eat mercury laden fish. Hmmmmm.

On another hysterical note Burger King is coming out with a men's body spray called "Flame" that they are describing as "the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat". Seriously. Check this article out if you don't believe me, and if you find out this is a joke, please make me feel better and let me know.
