Wow....That just took forever to upload those few pics! Bad Blogger :( This is happening way too much lately.
I did manage to get up for the gym this morning. Amazing huh? I did 10 Min StairMaster, Various Arms (Chest Press, Curls), Various Abs (Stability Ball, Ab Roller) and finished with a 35 Min Elliptical Program . When I checked my HRM I was surprisingly low on calories burned and HR. Usually I blow past 800 Calories per gym session, and today I was only at around 7oo and my minutes "in the zone" was only about 25. I'm usually around 35. Weird huh? I didn't really do anything different. Maybe my body is getting used to the workout and I need to push myself harder.
I came home and had the usual bowl of oatmeal . Would you believe that I actually took some PB out?! I know its crazy talk. I didn't take all of it out, It was just so melty and all over the place this morning, I wasn't that into it. I probably put too much on anyway, so a little less can't hurt.
At work today, I swear I could hear crickets. There was almost no one there. Its like Friday is the unofficial "optional" day for work. No one shows up! I only stayed for a little while. That's the beauty of my office job, I can come and go as I please. No one really keeps track of when I'm there, how long I'm there, etc. As long as the work gets done, "no harm no foul" is their motto.
For lunch I had 1 slice leftover pizza and some veggies dipped in Annie's Goddess Dressing . I didn't really like the taste of the veggies in the dressing, so I gave up after a few carrots and ate the veggies by themselves. I also had the rest of my Iced Green Tea (no sugar, no water!) from Starbucks. I swear, these things are gonna make me broke.
There was a crazy lightning storm today outside our apartment. We could literally see the storm moving over our building. Rob and I stood outside and decided what to have for dinner while watching the storm. I really should've taken a picture. Think Allyson, Think!
Since we have a massive amount of blueberries, we decided on blueberry pancakes ! These used to be my favorite as a kid. My mom would make them when we went camping.
Rob took some pics with our new camera.
I tried my best to do a happy face in blueberries. Its hard next to a hot pan!
Just kidding! Sorry, that was cheesy....Anyway....Here's my plate with some Smart Balance. I had one more small pancake after this. These were delicious. I used a regular pancake recipe, nothing special here.
Now we're watching the movie "Juno" and I'm having some Rocky Road Ice Cream. Because its Friday and because I can.
