In Sink Reflections, Marla Cilley — the FlyLady — helped hundreds of thousands of her fans combat overwhelming household C.H.A.O.S. (Can’t Have Anyone Over Syndrome). Taking a “baby-steps” approach, she offered little chores to do every day, to wipe out clutter and feelings of inadequacy. Now, in Body Clutter, the FlyLady and Leanne Ely, the Dinner Diva and creator of the Saving Dinner series, team up to teach readers how to handle and erase the clutter they carry on their bodies and minds when it comes to body image.
The FlyLady and Leanne say that it’s not about finding the perfect diet, it’s about the way you feel about food and your body and understanding sound nutrition. With warm voices, unique lingo, and no preaching, they apply a step-by-step technique, coaching the readers from beginning to end and sharing their own success stories along the way.
5 Stars Good Stuff
The book covers Marla’s basic recipes for life. Have a plan and implement it in baby steps.
4 Stars Terrific Book — help for the person in CHAOS affects your weight
The Flylady has done it again! With a little help. She can help you organize your house. Now, your body too. No BS, do diets. Just some common sense wisdom and advise. Easy read — enjoyable — helpful too. For people with CHAOS that need help with their bodies too!
5 Stars Book
I like all the Flylady books. This was a great book, one that needs to be read over and over. It was in great condition.
5 Stars Great Insights and motivation
The authors are not an “authority” in weight-loss — they are us, women who struggled for years with body image and diet. The questions make you think and help get to some of the blockades we all face in our desire to be a healthy weight. The primary principal is taking babysteps in whatever you do so you don’t burn yourself out or overwhelm you to quit.
5 Stars Great book – just what I needed!
I have not finished the whole thing yet, but this is just what I was searching for. A friend and I are going to start meeting after the holidays and go through the book together. We believe it will help us understand why we let ourselves get so heavy and motivate us to let the past go while we work to become healthier.
