better...

today I ate a bit better... I still had the cake at lunch (and man was it good!)... but I resisted all the other bad stuff. I ate lots of fruit in the morning and a salad with brown rice and lentils at lunch. I also got the chance to go for a long walk on venice beach in the afternoon and then I went for a run along manhattan beach when we got back to the hotel. I also fit an upper body weight train in with abs and back.

I haven't even been craving dairy and sweets since I (mostly) stopped eating them... I guess I just couldn't resist... guess I have to work on that will power.

I am thankful though, for my healthy exercise habits... no matter where I am, I always find time to fit in a work out. I feel incomplete without it.

I go back to nyc tomorrow night and I have a race saturday morning, so hopefully I didn't sabotage my body too much in the past couple of days...

Those are some great habits. I'm happy if I get a 20 minute run in the morning. And my yoga teacher is on vacation, so that means I have been vacationing from my yoga routine... not good. Oh well. Is swimsuit season half over yet? No?
