I’m down to the wire on this week’s Blogger Secret Ingredient, but it’s a yummy one so hopefully my lack of time management skills can be overlooked I tried to get creative with the title of the smoothie, if you couldn’t tell!
Note: I found the sorbet at Costco in a big bulk pack that came with all the flavors you see in the link above. It’s a great find - the sorbet comes in the actual fruit peel as a container, how cool is that?! - and makes for a very nice dessert on its own, too!
But back to the real deal at hand - the smoothie! I blended the ingredients together and then added the remaining 1/2 pear to the top of each smoothie for garnish.
The verdict? Bobby and I were both BIG fans of this fruity delight. It combines so many delicious fruits into one big glass, and you can definitely taste each unique flavor. I’ve never tried pear in a smoothie before, and I think it must have added to the delicious factor. When combined with the sorbet to give it that extra kick of sweetness and chill, this smoothie becomes one that I will definitely be having again!!
