Hows it rocking out there? We're ALREADY through Tuesday? How super sweet! I want to wish my friend Kristen a VERY Happy Birthday! She is one of the best group fitness instructors and has been so great to me since I moved to Charleston! Tonight I took her Body Attack class and sweated my butt off (hopefully... haha ) ;)
Ok, so this afternoon, I baked up some Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. My work is putting on a thanksgiving dinner for a boys home in Charleston tomorrow. I picked to make dessert and I thought hmmm what do young boys like? COOKIES! I will also be cooking/serving the dinner tomorrow night! I am excited! For dinner tonight I made Buffalo Chicken Calzones and they were very yummy.
Ingredients: 2 cooked chicken breasts shredded (I boiled mine) 1/2 cup pizza sauce (or tomato sauce- whatever you have is just great!) 3 teaspoons hot sauce 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (I used part skim) Pizza dough (either homemade or store bought!) Small amount of olive oil
Directions: Heat the oven up to 450. Mix chicken, pizza sauce, hot sauce, and moz cheese. Stretch out pizza dough, insert filling, wrap up calzone and pinch shut. Brush with just a bit of olive oil. Bake for 15 minutes.
I'm full! So are you guys making anything for your thanksgiving or just enjoying the eats?
