Avoid Back Injury with Broccoli

You may be wondering how on earth can broccoli help with back pain. Well..it can’t keep you from getting back pain but it can help strengthen your body to avoid back injuries. 

Japanese researchers have identified that Vitamin K which is found in broccoli, spinach and other dark green vegetables helps the calcium deposits in the bones by making them denser. The stronger your bones are the stronger your entire body will be. With stronger denser bones and a stronger body your chances of injury that may cause back pain are lowered. 

Of course, chiropractic care also helps tremendously by keeping your spine aligned which also helps to avoid weaknesses that may lead to back injury. But it’s nice to know that green leafy vegetables play a part in the strengthening of our spines as well.
