Have you noticed that the new Arrowhead sports bottle has a tiny little blue tab that comes off for the cap to flip up?
How dangerous is that for little babies?
I know other sports bottles have plastic clear caps that come off completely, but this little blue tab is a concern because it is so small a parent might over look it and the little ones picking it up off the floor and gulp.
Any thoughts?
I agree. I think you're right to be worried. I wouldn't let my baby anywhere near a water bottle with a small part that comes off. There is really no need for babies to have water bottles near them anyway. They should be fed using a bottle that is designed for babies and I think parents should keep their own water bottles out of reach of the child (up high on a counter or something of the like).
