New research indicates that probiotics may help us alleviate symptoms of lactose intolerance; relieve constipation; reduce the chances of iinfections from salmonella; improve inflammatory conditions such as asthma, eczema or Crohn's disease; fight food allergies; and aid in overcoming vaginal, urinary tract and bladder infections, among other things. You can find probiotics in supplements and in certain yogurts and other dairy products.
