Any good tips on how to eat healthy on vacation?

I leave for Costa Rica on Sat for a week. It's so much harder to eat healthy when you're away -- any good tips?

One tip I have is to eat twice a day instead of three times. You end up eating more at each meal so it works out.
I think the key is to just not 'let yourself go' and think of eating healthy the same way you would at home - avoid fried, oily foods, eat sweets in moderation, try to eat whole grains, and only eat what you're hungry for. Aslo drink lots of fluids so you won't mistake thirst for hunger. Have fun!

I think it's important to make sure you have a healthy, fibre-rich breakfast, then to eat regularly throughout the day so that you don't get really famished, and carry healthy snacks with you, such as nuts, seeds, or dried fruit. Drinking lots of water will also help.
