Okay, I know this picture is HUGE...but let's just rejoice over dessert for a minute, shall we? ;-)
In our quest for quickie meals we met a lovey older lady (another customer) at Whole Foods with whom we chatted about all things gluten-free and vegan. She later found us in the freezer section and said in the most precious way, "I don't want to be a buttinsky, but you have to try this ice cream." Now, who could pass up a cute recommendation like that? Not me.
So, we brought home NadaMoo. Let me tell you, this is some pretty terrific stuff. The only flavor that is not gluten-free is the Lotta Mint Chip. Although none of their products are "certified" gluten-free, they assure us on their web page www.nadamood.com that said products are, in fact, free of gluten. Good news for those who have to watch their sugar intake, NadaMoo is made with Agave nectar. And, for the low oxalate crowd...it is free of soy! Hurray!
Favorite flavor is still a toss up. Guess we'll just have to keep taste-testing for a while. Oh, the suffering. ;-)
