Restrictive diets are notoriously hard to maintain. I think there's a better alternative. If you're concerned about improving your diet, add good food to it. Don't worry about your guilty cravings. Don't deny yourself fats or sweets. Instead, add healthy foods such as tofu, salmon, salads, fruits, and whole grains. Eat them daily, along with whatever else you find yourself wanting. In this way, you improve your diet without making any restrictions. Besides, I'd bet that the more healthy food you eat, the more you'll crave it, and the less you'll crave the much less satisfying candy bars.
