A Welcome Back WIAW – with tiny greens, disgusting burgers, and medieval warriors

When it comes to most things I am a habitual planner. I plan everything from the order I get ready for bed to what will be packed for lunch. Yet I did not plan on taking a blogging break despite the fact that that is exactly what happened this month.
Things are hectic as ever but I couldn’t let another Wednesday go by without sharing some of my daily eats with a WIAW post. Plus, I wanted to take the opportunity to share 3 links I have found interesting recently.
Breakfast is taking on a whole new spin: wheatberries with egg and greek yogurt, plus fruit.
Snacks are mostly savoury as usual: homemade flatbread pizza. I am aware it looks slightly burnt but that is exactly the way I wanted it.
Link #1:Micro greens are being grown by scientists which concentrate nutritional value into tiny veggies!
Okay so this isn’t what I eat in a typical day. It is what I make on a typical Sunday so that I can be prepared for a busy week.
The odd chance I get home in time from work to actually make something: savoury pancakes.Link #2: We all know that fast food doesn’t look like it does in the advertisements, but take a look at these fast food burgers under a high resolution scanner . Gross.
Whilst catching up on my emails and flipping through some magazines.
Link #3: If you follow me on Pinterest you will know that I love all things visual. That is why I love these illustrations of Disney Princesses being re-imagined as medieval warriors .
I have been reading all my regular blogs, but hopefully soon I will get more time to start commenting again. I miss interacting with the blogging community rather than just reading from the outside.
-*-*-*-*-*Have you had wheatberries before? Do you like them? Which was your favourite link?
