We had a rough start to our apartment hunt:
Eek! For just $1750 per month, you can rent this gem of an apartment!
Mal is actually laughing in this photo!
Oh well. We’ve got a whole slew of friend-recommended realtors to work with now. I know we can find something better!
After seeing a few not-so-great apartments, Mal and I needed a beer, so we stopped into The Playwright for dinner and a couple of drinks.
The Playright is a cool place. I liked the vibe.
As soon as I saw Allagash White on the menu, I had to order one. It’s one of my favorite beers ever! I didn’t even read the rest of the menu.
The Playwright has a surprisingly nice selection of beers!
Mmmm… beer! Don’t I look exhausted in this photo?
For dinner, I ordered two side dishes: grilled asparagus and sweet potato fries.
Both were excellent and exactly what I wanted for dinner.
Mal and I were chatting away over dinner, so we ordered a second round of drinks.
After paying our bill at The Playwright, we headed to my friend’s apartment for a small gathering. We caught up over a glass of white wine and some appetizers.
I wasn’t hungry, but I munched on a few. It’s tough when delicious food is sitting right in front of me!
Look at me. Man, I NEED sleep!
And, on that note, I am off to bed!
