7 superfoods to lower cholesterol

If you are trying to lower your cholesterol, some “superfoods” have been proven to help.

- Alcohol

- Almonds

- Avocados

- Barley

- Beans

- Lentils

- Blueberries

- Oats

Avocados does the body good with all its nutrients. Each fruit boasts with healthy properties: Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, E, K, carotenoids, biotin, zinc, folate, potassium, glutathione, omega-6 fatty acids and fiber. The plant also contains chemical betasitoseterol beneficial to the prostate gland.
Bitter gourd are also said to be good if you have high cholesterol. They are quite bitter to eat (but taste ok if soaked in salty water for about 30 minutes prior to cooking. And not only are they good for the body overall, they also help to control cholesterol levels.
