These Hollywood celebrity fitness tips will help you keep motivated when it comes to reaching your own fitness goals all year round.

Celebrities do have access to top personal trainers and personal chefs and it might be easy to think that it’s not possible for you to also be in the best shape of your life in your late 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s. Nothing (but NOTHING) could be further from the truth.

Female Hollywood celebrities over 35 have been getting a lot of press because many of these ladies are walking the red carpet in the best shape of their lives!

If you are about to celebrate a milestone birthday and you are feeling low about your self-image, you might want to learn from a few female Hollywood celebrities over 35 who are keeping their body lean and fit as they age!

1. Halle Berry: What can I say, the woman is flawless. Halle Berry has always had a smoking hot body, but even after giving birth to her daughter, she still has an incredible body. Halle focuses on her upper body and she loves rowing exercises and strength training to achieve sculpted shoulders and a well-defined upper back.

2. Sandra Bullock: Sandra’s initial post I wrote during the time she was promoting her smash hit movie The Proposal is still one of the most popular posts on the site (women love reading about Sandra Bullock)! Sandra Bullock has really turned into one of the most respected female Hollywood celebrities. Sandra believes in variety when it comes to her fitness approach and she incorporates Pilates, kickboxing, weight training, and plyometrics ( think P90X ) into her regimen. At home in Austin, TX, Sandra also runs and bikes.

3. Jennifer Aniston: Jennifer keeps her body lean and muscular after forty by practicing the following “religion”: running, yoga and eating well! Practising yoga for two hours every other day has changed her body by lengthening her lines (okay, two hours of yoga might not be practical for everyone … but you get the idea that being actively fit is important), toning all her muscles, and improving her posture. Jennifer keeps coming back to yoga for the spiritual benefits!

4. Mary J. Blige: Mary J. has really trimmed down nicely in the last few years. Mary will be 40 next year (born, January, 11th, 1971) and it’s obvious she’s entering a new decade of her life in full force. She keeps her body fit with one of my favourite fitness equipments: TRX Suspension!

Renée Zellweger: Renée is another Hollywood female celebrity who has had to put on a lot of weight for a role (“Bridget Jones’ Diary”), but she’s worked very hard at shedding the pounds after filming. Just like anyone who has gained weight, it takes discipline and dedication to get back to a healthy weight. Renée keeps fit over 40 by running, logging nearly 5 km (about three miles) every day on the treadmill.

Jennifer Lopez: She’s the mother of twins, yet her body is still as rocking as it was when we first saw her in her “If You Had My Love” video (the song that launched her singing career from her 1999 “On the 6” album). Valerie went from 172 lbs down to 132 lbs with the help of the Jenny Craig system and daily exercise. I’m not a fan of these types of nutritional weight loss programs because you then have to learn how to eat real food while maintaining a healthy weight if and when you decide to stop buying Jenny Craig food, but the fact that Valerie is setting such a great example for women is worth talking about and celebrate!

Oh, there are many more sexy celebs over 35 who are setting examples with their super fit bodies, but I wanted this to be a short and sweet inspiration, as I continue to highlight more of these women on this site!
