Although this post is not about food it is about wellness, particularly stress management.
Life is funny sometimes. I am currently undergoing some life changes. In the midst of this I have come to realize how blessed I am – to have the unconditionally loving support from family and a few amazing friends, to be surrounded by supportive colleagues, to be living in such a beautiful place I now call home, and to be in good health. A man said to me one day not that long ago, “If you have your health you have everything.” This was coming from a man who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia early in life and told there was only a very small chance he would survive to live another few months. Well, he did. But he has tremendously struggled with his health along the way. His words stay with me. Good health is a vital and powerful thing not to be underestimated.
