Oh I have some fun to share with you today

First a fact: eating a high or all raw diet is NOT enough to have wonderful health . In fact this alone does not guarantee good health at all. You might find this frustrating or disappointing to hear. You may even feel very resistant. Either way, it’s still a fact.
Eating a clean, healthy diet is of course extremely important, in fact almost always essential, to experiencing incredible health long term, but there are many other factors that influence your health. Genetics, lifestyle, mental, emotional and spiritual health, activity level, location and response to stress for starters.
Not only that, what you define as a “clean, healthy diet” may not actually be that clean or that healthy for you at all! Unless you have extensively studied clean eating, health and the body in general, or you are very aware of what your body likes and doesn’t like and always honour that completely, the fact is you might not be eating a diet that is healthy for you. Whether it’s raw or not.
Your body is different to mine. It is also different to every other body out there. So of course the diet that works perfectly for one person won’t necessarily be perfect for you. In fact, that is very unlikely.
However there are certain practices that benefit everyone and will always contribute to better health. These include:
- Eating more fresh organic produce, primarily vegetables
- Choosing unprocessed whole foods
- Staying hydrated (through pure water and/or organic liquids from fresh foods – coconuts, fresh juices, in fresh fruit and vegetables, etc)
- Facilitating the body to perform its natural cleansing function as best as it possibly can through clean eating and detoxification support methods
Yet it’s not always easy to know how to incorporate these essentials into your diet while also maintaining a busy work and home life, socialising and satisfying not only your appetite but your emotional hunger and your taste buds too. All of these factors need to be completely addressed for long term success and consistency with a clean, fresh diet.
