hello! Why the sudden disappearance, blame the baby No really, he has been driving me up the walls with his inability to sleep for more then one hour at a stretch. Crazzy baby!
Guess who completed and conquered phase 1 of the 30 day shred…ME!!!! I had fallen sick at the beginning of the month and so I could not start the challenge until November 4th which means I will be continuing the shredding process until December 4th.
Here are my thoughts so far, I did well with phase 1, but when it comes to loss, there is none so far. And I am the only one to blame. It was Diwali and it was so hard to control myself with all the delicious food around. I may have lost control which explains the no loss scenario. But I am happy to report that I graduated phase 1, I still suck at lunges and push ups but I have made progress.
At the beginning of the challenge, I did wall push ups, then 1 or 2 half push ups but at the end of phase 1, I could stay with Jillian and complete my half push ups albeit a bit slower. Lunges I still hate, front lunges to be specific, side lunges I can deal with. The rest of the moves, dare I say were getting a bit repetitive after 9 days and I was waiting for phase 2.
Today I did complete day 1 of phase 2 and boy am I sore or what. Its painful but I know it will be good. Since Diwali is behind me now, I am going to make an honest effort to eat cleaner.
