Day 2 of Week 2 of training on the 100 Push-Up Challenge ( http://hundredpushups.com/ ) is now history. Today's training was as follows: Level 1: 16 push-ups Level 2: 13 push-ups Level 3: 11 push-ups Level 4: 11 push-ups Level 5: Max (at least 15 push-ups) There was a 90 second rest period between each level and, in total, I completed 67 push-ups (16 on level 5). While I continue to struggle with this training, 16 consecutive push-ups is a new personal best, so hopefully momentum (and strength) will continue to build! If you're competing in this program, let me know how you're doing. I'd love to hear from folks who are realizing gains as the week's progress. The Push-Up Challenge along with circuits and HIIT have helped me to quickly take off the weight gained during my trip to Italy last month. I'm off to do 20-minutes of HIIT on my exercise bike. Train hard; stay strong. Peace. Susan |
