I’m all out of bananas pretty much everything at the moment, so yesterday’s breakfast included a bowl of Quaker Oatmeal Squares with skim milk and extra blueberries. I really missed having my normal bananas in this breakfast bowl, but at least I had the tasty blueberries! I love this breakfast and look forward to it every morning
In addition to bananas, we are out of my usual turkey lunch meat. This means I have been munching on PB&Js for lunch all week, which is not a bad thing at all! I do love PB&J every now and then! On the side I had my usual carrots and hummus. I still can’t get enough of this combo I’m crossing my fingers I have enough of those to last me for a couple more days…
Oops, how did those get in here?
Snack #2 (unpictured)
For a second snack, I had a chopped up green apple and a big cup of unsweetened green tea. I ate this really quickly in between meetings, so I didn’t snap a photo.
For dinner I complained that we needed to go to the grocery store Fabio rustled up a box of some long-forgotten mushroom risotto from Trader Joe’s and I mixed it up with some peas, carrots, chicken sausage, and chives. YUM!!! This risotto was so good and really easy to make. Good thing I found a guy who doesn’t give in to my whining
Also unpictured: one smallish glass of red wine.
Daily Activity: Ran four miles in the heat of the early morning. Phew! It was tough! The heat and humidity are making my runs much more challenging. I had to stop to walk up the toughest hill in Rosslyn which I can usually run up just fine, but I was just happy I made it out for the run at all. Gotta celebrate life’s victories, after all!
Ok guys, sorry that’s all I have time for today! Chat with you laterrrrr!
Question of the day: How do you work out when it’s hot outside?
