Vitamin D rich foods

Oily fish
Cod liver oil supplement
Egg yolks
Fortified margarines
Fortified fruit juices e.g. Tropicana
Some fortified breakfast cereals
Vitamin D-enriched milk
Dried milk powder

If you have osteoporosis, you should take a supplement of vitamin D providing between 10 - 20 micrograms (or 400 - 800IU*) of vitamin D daily. This is usually provided in your calcium supplement and is listed as 'D3'. Check the label of your supplementto make sure that you are taking a vitamin D-enriched form.
