4 potatoes cut into cubes
1 cup beans cut into 1/2 cm pieces
1/2 cup shelled peas
3 carrots cut into cubes
[ all the vegetables should cut in equal size]
2 tomatoes chopped
2cm Cinnamom
4 cloves
4 cardamoms
Ginger- garlic paste--2 teaspoon
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Poppy seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cashew nuts 3
[ make a paste of coconut, poppy seeds and cashew nuts ]
1 onion minced
2 green chillies sliced
Salt according to your taste [ 1 teaspoon]
2 teaspoon cooking oil
1/4 cup curd
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Heat oil in a vessal and add the spices for seasoning. then add onions and fry until golden brown.Add sliced green chillies.
Add ginger - garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes. Add peas, potatoes, carrot, beans and tomatoes. Add 1/4 water . Mix well and cook on a very low flame about 10- 15 minutes.
Mix the coconut paste and well beaten curds together.
When the vegetables are tender add coconut paste to the curry. Cook again for 10 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with Chapati, Parathas and pulao.
