Khao Phad Gaprao Gai [Spicy fried rice with chicken]
Serves - Four Time required - 20 minutes
Ingredients
30 ml oil
200gm rice steamed
100gm boneless chicken, sliced
5gm garlic, sliced
10gm red chillies, sliced lengthwise
5gm fresh basil leaves
5 ml soya sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
salt to taste
10 ml chicken stock
3ml fish sauce
Method
Heat the oil in a pan, and add the garlic and chillies.Saute for a few minutes,then add the chicken, soya sauce,sugar,salt,chicken stock and fish sauce. Allow to cook for six to seven minutes,stirring frequently.Add the rice and continue to cook for another five minutes,till most of the moisture has been absorbed.
