Tasty turkey patties with rosemary sweet potato chips

Oh how I just love the smell of rosemary flavored sweet potato; for some unexplained reason it reminds me of the smell of the Finnish sauna which I dearly miss *sigh* I have to admit I had to make another batch of these for Mr Kangaroo because I finished the first one before he got home for dinner...Can you blame me??
The patties, on the other hand, are yet another version of my always reliable meat ball recipes. Cooking the patties in the oven is much simpler method than frying them on a pan. This time I added sweet chili sauce in to the dough to make it a bit spicier, and I also made a dip with sour cream and sweet chili sauce to serve with the patties and the chips.
Not a bad start for the week!
Tasty turkey patties
500 g turkey mince 1 egg 3 tbs semolina (or substitute with breadcrumbs) 1 tbs sweet chili sauce a dash of soy sauce a good pinch of ground coriander
Mix all ingredients together, form into patties (makes about 9-10) or balls and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in 200C oven for about 20 minutes. Turn the patties half way through to ensure even cooking.
Rosemary sweet potato chips
1 sweet potato (or make it 2) cut into chips olive oil sea salt fresh or dry rosemary
Place the sweet potato chips on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and rosemary. Mix well so that the oil and the spices coat everything. Bake in 200 C oven for about 20 minutes. You can turn the chips half way through to get even coating of oil.
Spicy sour cream dip
Half a tub sour cream (or use a whole tub if you're making 2 batches of chips) a good tablespoon of sweet chili sauce pinch of cayenne pepper
Mix all ingredients together and serve with patties and chips.
