T-fal OptiGrill Review

Posted Oct 19 2013 3:46pm

As grilling weather starts to slow down, it’s great to have an indoor grilling option.  The T-fal OptoGrill is a new indoor grill that has been made to cook meats to your desired doneness with it’s new technonolgy.

The OptiGrill has a sleek design and easy to use buttons.  It can be used for making a gourmet steak dinner or a simple grilled panini.

The many great features that make it better than other indoor grill options:

Here are the detials:

  • Patented Automatic Sensor Cooking system to adapt cooking cycle according to thickness and number of parts
  • Unique Cooking LED level indicator to follow the cooking process without opening the grill
  • 6 Automatic cooking programmes (Burger, Chicken, Bacon, Sausage, Red Meat and Fish) with adapted temperatures
  • Frozen Food mode to defrost and cook all types of food
  • Manual cooking mode
  • Keep warm function
  • 600cm2 plates with non-stick coating for optimum results
  • High Performance : 2 000 W
  • Die cast aluminium plates
  • Extra large drip tray
  • 7º angled plates for easy fat release
  • Easy to clean : dishwasher safe removable plates and drip tray
  • Brushed stainless steel housing
For my first experience using the OptiGrill, I made lots of fresh grilled veggies.  I thinly sliced eggplant and zucchini and laid it on the OptiGrill.  After hitting the manuel button, I waited until the veggies were perfectly cooked.

The OptiGrill created delicious grilled veggies that were evenly cooked, but not burned.

I have made fish, chicken and meat on the OptiGrill, all with great results!  As the weather gets even colder, this will new indoor grill will get even more use!

*I was sent the T-fal OptiGrill to review but all opinions are my own.
