Tuesday, September 10th from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Birmingham Community House
Fall is Pumpkin Time! Not to mention the best time of the year for all sorts of other squashes: acorn, spaghetti, kabocha, butternut, buttercup, you name it. During this class, we’ll find out how to make the most out of the most inexpensive and ubiquitous veggies of the season. Baked Acorn Squash Stuffed with Wild Rice, Cranberries, Pecans, and Parmesan is on the menu; so are Chili-Spiced Buttercup Fries and Butternut Corn Chowder Topped with Shrimp. For dessert, we’ll be making Pumpkin Maple Dip with Apples & Pears and Pumpkin Blondies with Chocolate Chunks. This fall, you’ll have all-new favorite squash recipes to enjoy! [All recipes are gluten-free and vegetarian.]
Please call the Birmingham Community House at (248) 644-5832 to register for this class. Class fee is $32 with an $8 grocery fee.
