This no cooking - sweet recipe is an alternative to sweets. This desiccated coconut, gives the strawberries a rich new taste with white chocolate. You need 400g large strawberries 50 g white chocolate, broken into squares 50g sweetened tenderised coconut Method Cut the strawberries in half lengthwise. Put the chocolate squares into a bowl and microwave for 1 minute until just melted ( or rest the bowl over a pan of simmering water ). Sprinkle the coconut over a tray. Dip the tip of each strawberry into the chocolate, if using, then put the strawberry, flat side down, into the coconut on the tray. Tuck in straight away or if you can , leave the strawberries to set in a cool place. |
