Home Remedies for Cracked Heels
Apply petroleum jelly or vaseline or paraffin oil after drying the area. It will help in recovering of your foot in normal condition.
Use pumice stone to reduce the thickness of the hard skin.
Take about three tablespoons of bees wax and mix one teaspoonful sesame oil in it. Warm it a little and apply on the affected areas.
Applying a moisturizing cream twice daily on the cracked heals may help to get rid of them fast.
Use warm sesame oil or ghee on the affected areas. It is the best home remedy for the treatment of cracked heels.
Avoid wearing open backed shoes or thin soled shoes.
Wear shoes with a good shock absorbing sole.
Apply any shortening or hydrogenated vegetable oil after washing the feet clean on dry and cracked areas of the feet .
Apply the pulp of a ripe banana on the dry or cracked area of the heel. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse it clean.
Soak the feet in lemon juice for about 10minutes. This therapy on a weekly basis until one finds a change.
Regular application of a mixture of glycerin and rosewater is known to soothe and cure cracked heels.
