Rajasthani Baati

Serves : 4
Time required : 45 minutes

Ingredients

½ kg wheat flour
1kg desi ghee
Salt to taste
½ teaspoon ( 2g ) ajwain
Salt to taste
1 cup ( 120 ml ) water

Method

Add ½ kg ghee to the wheat flour and mix well. Also add ajwain and salt and enough water to bind to a smooth dough. Divide the dough into small portions and roll into balls or any desired shapes. Roast the rolled balls in the oven till done and brown in colour, Put the baatis in the remaining pure and let them soak in the ghee. Serve hot with dal.
