
Leg of lamb seasoned with whole garammasala and grilled .... A special dish of Royal Mughal family.
Serves 4
Time required: 10 minutes plus marinating and roasting time
Ingredients
800 g leg of lamb
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon ( 15 g ) chilly powder
1 tablespoon ( 15 g ) garammasala powder
½ ( 150 ml ) curd
30 g ginger- garlic paste
½ cup ( 120 ml ) malt vinegar
2 bay leaves
5 cardamom
5 cloves
½ teaspoon ( 2 g ) black peppercorns
5 cm cinnamon
5 tablespoon ( 75 ml ) oil
Method
Wash the leg of lamb and prick it with a fork. Mix all the ingredients and apply to the leg. Keep aside to marinate for six hours. Roast in pre - heated oven at 180 * C for 45 minutes or till done. Serve hot with Naan.
