Question Time!

Posted Mar 26 2011 12:00am

Good morning folks! First of all… I LOVED hearing your guesses as to what my birth name is … and some of you got it right.. it is in fact, Carolyn!

Emma from the Quirky Kitchen and I decided it would be a fun idea to ask each other some questions to answer on our blogs! So.. without further ado… here we go!

- who has inspired you most in your life?

I would have to say that my best friend has been a huge inspiration to me in my life. She has stuck with me when I was going through really rough times and called for help when I needed it. She is always so supportive, caring and has never let me down. She truly is a TRUE friend and I know we will always be friends until FOREVER :D (I would post a pic of her but not sure she would want that!)

- describe your perfect day

OOO good one! It would start out with a bowl of my perfect oats, a nice long run outside (good weather!) and then a trip to a MEGA theme park with INSANE rides with my friends and then a night out at the clubs!

- if you could visit only one place before you die, where would it be and why?

I would definitely go to Pb&Co in NYC… no explanation necessary there ;)

- what’s your most embarassing moment?

Aahahah probably the time when I was at my friends house after I had slept over and was getting changed… my friend was calling for help because her dresser had fallen on top of her so I quickly pulled up my pants and started running down the corridor BUT my pants fell down and I tripped and flew SMACK down- face first onto the floor…

- what did your parents/friends think about you going vegan?

My parents were super supportive and pretty much just said ‘yeah, that sounds cool’…. my friends were pretty chill about it and wanted me to take them to vegan restaurants although, I remember one of my friend’s saying ‘yeah… I need my burgers”

- if you owned a vegan cafe, what would be your “special of the day” today?

Oooo! it would probably be beans with chickpea gravy and a side of macaroni and cheeze!

- if you could sit down and have dinner with one person (dead or alive) who would it be and what would you ask them?

Janie Dickinson! I would yell at her for saying that “more models need to become anorexic” and would probably finish up with a punch to her face.. hehe!

- what would you consider your strengths and weaknesses?

My strengths are my motivation and ability to push myself through anything and achieve anything I want.. my weakness is my own self.. sometimes I lack in self confidence and doubt my abilities- I also always strive to achieve so much that I never look at what I have accomplished in the past and that brings me down!

- who would you pick to play you in a movie about yourself?

Nina Dobrev- because if the producers thought she looked anything like me.. I would be BEYOND flattered

source

- describe yourself in 5 words

Honest, outgoing, caring, outspoken, energetic!

- where and how do you see yourself in 10years? 20years?

I have thought about this WAY too much… I want to be a nutritionist/sports nutritionist with a personal training certification.. and I WOULD LOVE TO be a sports nutritionist for a professional basketball team!

- what is your favourite vegan recipe that you discovered through blogging?

Chocolate Chip Carrot Cake Muffins with Cream Cheeze Frosting!

- what’s the most difficult thing you’ve had to face/deal with in your life?

Two eating disorders :/

- how has living in England influenced who you are? How do you think you’d be different if you lived in the states?

Oh my gosh I would be SO different.. I have been introduced to SO many cultures not only in London, but from traveling too.. It’s pretty cool that I’ve been to 40 different countries and I’m only 17 years old.. I have a respect for people of different religion and ethnicity and I know a lot of cultures (I could describe Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, South Africa- and the way people live there) that I think I just wouldn’t have been exposed to if I had grown up in the U.S.

- what life event has allowed u to learn the most about yourself and what did you learn?

Definitely my eating disorders- they have taught me how strong I am and how I can really accomplish anything I put my mind to. They have also given me a much better respect for life, happiness and health that I wouldn’t have gotten if I hadn’t been through them.

- what were you like as a child?

BAHAHHA funny question! I was such a loud, energetic little kid.. I used to dance EVERYWHERE and all the time- I was talkative, loved to be the center of attention and had so much life in me! Not much has changed- haha!

- what was your favourite childhood game?

Dance Dance Revolution!

- if I gave you a plain White t-shirt, what would you do to it to turn it into a carrie style piece of clothing? Draw a pic of it and post it on your blog

I would make it into a crop top- dye it black first! Pair it with chunky necklaces, some bangles, short shorts and some cute sandals!
