Pumpkin Seed Milk To Expel Parasites

In ancient China, people used pumpkin seeds  to expel parasites. Pumpkin seeds  are a very nutrient-dense food, as they are high in iron, zinc and omega-3 fatty acids. In Healing With Whole Foods, Paul Pitchford writes, “Various parasites infect a major percentage of the population,” inferring that parasites can proliferate in a weak digestive tract.

With that in mind, I decided to make pumpkin seed milk and give it to my family to drink every day. I got a huge bag of organic pumpkin seeds from nuts.com , but was initially afraid that pumpkin milk won’t taste good. It ended up tasting as good as almond milk! The only concern, especially with kids, is the milk’s light green color, which can be easily masked by adding a quarter of a raw beet ( for pink milk) or a pinch of turmeric ( for yellow milk.) If you are concerned with parasites, the other natural remedies include raw garlic and apple cider vinegar daily.

Try my  rice milkcashew milk  and  almond milk , too!
