Pumpkin pie play dough smells so good, everyone in my family has tried to take a bite of it! The play dough doesn’t taste good at all, so little toddlers and my preschooler continued to happily play with it following the unsuccessful chewing attempt.
Pumpkin pie spice is available in every store, but if you don’t have any, try substituting with the mixture of ground nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon, until your homemade play dough reaches the desired smell. Store your play dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator and it can last for a month!
Mix all ingredients, except for water and the food coloring in a medium pot. Gradually add water and mix again. Set the pot on a medium heat and cook, while mixing for 3-5 minutes. When the dough forms a ball in the middle of the pot, it’s ready. Take it out of the pot and cool. Add food coloring, knead and get ready to play!
