Pompom ornaments look cute and are easily made. Kids get a chance to work on their fine motor skills and get a good sense of accomplishment while doing so.
I didn’t make a hole inside a wreath, to make it look more like a real wreath, because my cardboard was too thick and the only scissors we had in the playroom were toddler-safe scissors. Please, cut a ring-like pattern out of your cardboard prior to gluing pompoms on it – it will look a lot better.
You need: cardboard, scissors, glue, green, red, white and any other color pompoms you’d like.
Cut the shapes of a candy cane, a tree, a wreath out of the cardboard. Cover the shapes with glue and put pompoms on top. Allow the ornaments to dry well prior to hanging them.
