Whole Mackerel -2
Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
Lime juice- 2 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Make a paste for marinade
Ginger- 8 cloves
Garlic- 1'' piece
Red chilly powder- 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder- 1/2 pieces
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon cooking oil for greasing the baking tray
Wash and clean the fish. Pat dry the fish with kitchen paper towels. Make slits on fish . Apply salt, turmeric , lime juice ans salt. Keep aside for half an hour. Apply marinade and keep aside for 1 hour.
Grease baking tray with little oil. Keep fish apart. Bake the fish in an oven for about 300 * C for about 20 minutes / till get golden brown colour. Serve with onion rings and lemon wedges. Mackerel is good for health. and it contains omega- 3 fatty acids Baking of fish consumes only very little oil.
