Peaches and Cream Breakfast  Smoothie

I was planning on posting another recipe today, but the vegan and gluten-free peach smoothie I came up with this morning was too good. The kids inhaled it, it was easy to make and I managed to get rid of the excess peaches I had purchased at the farmers’ market. So, I got so excited about the recipe, I had to share it with you ASAP!

I used gluten-free rolled oats and  cashew milk  for this recipe, but feel free to experiment with other varieties and let me know. Experiment with adding some chia seeds, protein powder or flaxseed: these nutritious additions can’t hurt the smoothie.

Try  mango, peach, banana ice cream,  if you still have peaches left.

Peaches and Cream Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

( makes 3 tall glasses)

3 small peaches

1/4 cup rolled oats

1 medium banana, frozen

2 cups milk of your choice

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

Blend everything until smooth. Serve immediately.
