Papaya Sweet

You will need

2 cups of grated raw papaya

3 tablespoon ghee

4 cups milk

100 g grated mawa

1 1/2 cups sugar

3/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

1/4 cup mixed dry fruit pieces


Soak the grated papaya in warm water for 10 minutes. Drain and cook in ghee for five minutes. Add the milk a little at a time and cook till the papaya is done.

Add the grated mawa and sugar and cook, stirring continuously, till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.

Stir in the essence and half the dry fruits. Sprinkle the remaining dry fruit on the top at the time of serving. Serve hot with ice cream.
